Hi,
Ik ben Demi Brama ik ben 21 jaar en ik doe vanaf mijn 10de aan sportief paaldansen, toen ik begon met paaldansen bleek ik er talent voor te hebben en al snel deed ik mee aan wedstrijden. Na mijn eerste wedstrijd ben ik gevraagd om een demonstratie te geven bij het Nederlands Kampioenschap paaldansen in 2014, om te kijken of het voor kinderen in 2015 ook mogelijk zou zijn om aan het Nederlands Kampioenschap deel te nemen. Er werd erg goed op mijn demonstratie gereageerd, dus besloot de organisatie om in Nederland ook kampioenschappen te gaan organiseren voor kinderen.
Vanaf 2015 doe ik mee aan het Nederlands kampioenschap Pole Sports, dit onderdeel lijkt het meest op turnen, je moet je aan strikte regels houden en een aantal verplichte elementen laten zien in combinatie met bonus punten om zo een zo hoog mogelijk score te behalen. Sinds 2018 worden er ook kampioenschappen voor kinderen georganiseerd in Artistic pole, hier zijn veel minder regels en gaat het meer om een verhaal of thema wat je in je routine verwerkt .
Naast paaldansen train ik ook onder andere met Aerial hoop en handstand cans.
